Africa's Sovereign
Debt Monitoring
Platform.
Consolidating, harmonising, and presenting public debt data across all 55 AU Member States - empowering transparent, African-led sovereign debt governance for Agenda 2063.

What is the African Debt Monitoring Mechanism?
The ADMM is a continental, African-owned digital reference platform established under the African Union Commission, Department of Economic Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry and Minerals (ETTIM). It was commissioned under AU Executive Council Decision EX.CL/Dec.1147(XL).
By harmonising debt data definitions and reporting across 55 states, ADMM gives African negotiators a shared, credible factual foundation at the G20, IMF, and World Bank - ensuring Africa speaks with one voice on sovereign debt.
